Now, the problem is, it seems I can't use the /bangc# command, and it's probably because I'm still in probation, and have limited GM powers atm. Or I can't type it correctly (tried /bangc and /bangc#), not sure. Anyway, the guy was online on Distance 2.

He's still on Distance 2. I also tried to ban him, but neither /bangc nor /bangc# seem to work.
Guess you're right, Miu, Arelh or Cran have to ban him.

is the GM password not working for you in the block 2?

The GM pass works fine, but the /bangc command doesn't work... hmm, does the target have to be in the same room/lobby? Maybe that's why it didn't work.

Well from what i heard if you add an s to ban, you can ban the account.

Therefore lets say for example

/bans Prime (As i read by Ives, in the rules) this bans the whole account also if I'm not mistaken

Did you try that? Also what happens, does the /ban command disappear when you press enter or it says it out loud?

Another thing if you switch blocks, I realize you have to put in the GM password again. When you change BOTH BLOCKS and SHIPS, it resets. However who knows, we may still be on probation by ARELH and Crono or under survailance . I haven't actually kicked or banned someone personally because even though I've been active, I have to study a lot for my geometry and biology exams. I will be more active on August 17th, when my exams are over. Therefore wanted to personally apologize for not assisting you Also, if you can kick someone aren't you allowed to ban them also? Since you register kick, then ban?

Bans using the name, which isn't as safe, imo, as the GC. Also, I'd have to catch his name in chatlog/viewtool in order to make sure it's spelled correctly.

EDIT: Just checked on teth, there are levels of rights. Pretty sure I haven't been assigned a high-enough level to ban people at this point, which is understandable.

if you can turn on the GM password in the block 2, then you should be able to ban.


you can not apply a ban or a kick from the block 1 to block 2 or from distance to standfield, you need to be in the same block or ship as the target... while you are in the same place, you can apply a ban or kick, does not matter if you are in other lobby or game.

make sure you are typing corrctly the command

/bangc# 2222222 (remember to add the # sign while using this command, and check the digits of the gc# are complete)

if you type /bans Robert, make sure that the name is correctly applied, check if it does not have spaces or extra signs which are sometimes hiden.

To answer your question chris, I said it out loud and I didn't change ships or blocks after putting in the GM pass.
Anyway, either I still did something wrong or it's as Eve said. Whatever, I'll try it again as soon as I get the chance.
